Burglary in Hutchins, TX (2017/08/11)

HUTCHINS, TX - On Sunday, 8/8/17 at approximately 12:30am, a white older model GMC white pick-up truck with black wheels, black headache rack attached to the rear windshield, and tube bed rails, pulled up to the office of McLane Trucking on Langdon Road in Hutchins, TX and parked. An unknown male described as wearing a black cap, dark clothing and white gloves approached the entrance of the office. The suspect stands by the entrance for approximately 2 minutes and leaves. Approximately 4 minutes later, the pick-up truck returns. The same described suspect gets out and pulls, what is believed to be a handgun, out of his right pant pocket and enters the office. The victim stated the suspect told him to lay down on the floor and not look at him. The suspect ties up the victim using flex type cuffs. The suspect takes the victim’s wallet and takes $20 and his cell phone. The suspect leaves the office, tosses the victim’s cell phone in the back of the victim’s truck and flees the scene.

It was learned the suspect in the pick-up truck was accompanied by another vehicle described as a champagne color 4dr sedan. Both vehicles arrived at the same time but on the first time arriving, the 4dr sedan followed the pick-up truck inside the property and headed toward and parked next to McLane’s trailer, away from the office. The sedan stopped and an unknown subject exited the passenger side, walked toward the trailer, walked around the trailer and walked back to the sedan and then left the property. The second time entering the property by following the pick-up truck, the sedan approached the same McLane’s trailer, and stopped where an unknown subject exited the passenger side of the sedan. The driver of the sedan then parked the vehicle. Moments later the unknown subject is seen standing by the rear of the trailer and then sparks are seen coming from the rear of the trailer. We believe the subject was breaking into the trailer. After a few moments the trailer door was opened. The subject then walks away from the trailer enters the sedan and flees the scene accompanied by the pick-up truck. We believe the suspect who committed the aggravated robbery was attempting to distract the victim while the other subject(s) commit burglary.
